Q. What’s your research focus in a nutshell?
My research focus is to provide evidence that helps to create neighbourhoods and parks that support people of all ages to lead more active and healthier lives.
Q. What’s the best piece of advice you could give to an ECR?
I would advise ECR’s to focus on their own journey, find a topic they really enjoy and care about, reach out to other’s and build networks, ask for help when needed, work hard but take time to enjoy the ride and the people you work with!
Q. Who or what gets you through challenging times?
My mantra in challenging times is to “Take one day at a time”.
Q. You’ve got an unexpected day off. What does your dream day look like?
Swim or water walk in the bay, coffee and chat with my girlfriends, visit to botanic gardens in Melbourne or coastal walk with my spoodle Bonnie, chill time with a good book, pre-dinner glass of wine/cocktail with a view of nature, dinner with my husband and 3 boys!
Q. What’s your favourite food OR (physical) activity?
Asian fusion and swimming (preferably in salt water).
