Thriving research partnerships recognised
Celebrating the wonderful research collaborations that are making an impact on health outcomes.
Three IPAN researchers, together with their research partners from across community, non-government organisations and government, each won category awards at Deakin’s 2025 Faculty of Health Partnerships in Practice Research Impact Awards.
As well as winning its category award, the TransformUs team also received the overall prize.
In its third year, the awards night celebrates partnership research from across the faculty, with prizes awarded for partnerships that have delivered the greatest impact.
The awards night also is an opportunity to launch a series of videos showcasing the partnerships behind the projects.
IPAN’s award winners were:
- Mid-career researcher category winner: Dr Helen Macpherson with Dementia Australia – Implementing self monitoring of cognitive function into primary health care: a new approach for dementia detection – watch
