The Centre for Sport Research contributes to Deakin University’s ranking as the #1 Sport Science school in the world (ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Sport Science Schools and Departments 2025).
We bring together experts in sports, exercise and health research from across Deakin University. Our team spans the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Sport Management in the Faculty of Business and Law, all working to deliver real-world impact through research and partnerships.
Our goal is to influence sport practice to build healthier communities, enhance performance and support sport organisations with governance and management to increase participation and boost engagement.
